A dynamic QR code is a printed pointerto something you can still change
The modules on paper are frozen — that is physics, not a pricing plan. What you can edit is what the code points at. QRCard AI makes that editable thing a working card: a form, a capacity, a deadline, a status that keeps updating after printing.
01
Why a plain QR code cannot be edited
A static QR code stores the destination itself — the full URL — inside its dots. Every module is part of that text, so changing the destination means a different picture, i.e. a new code. That is also why long URLs make dense, hard-to-scan codes.
A dynamic QR code stores a short address of its own that redirects onwards. The printed picture stays the same forever; the target behind the redirect is yours to move. Same mechanism, completely different consequences.
The difference is not the shape of the code — both are QR codes. It is where the truth lives: baked into the ink, or on a page you control.

What stays printed, and what you can still change
| Frozen on paper | Yours to change later | |
|---|---|---|
| The code itself | Same forever — never reprint | — |
| Where the scan lands | Not stored in the code | Any link, any page, any time |
| What the scanner fills in | Not stored in the code | Fields, labels, whether a name is allowed |
| Capacity and deadline | Not stored in the code | Spots, cut-off time, automatic waitlist |
| What people see while deciding | Card face design you printed | Live spots left, deadline, open or full |
| The data that comes back | — | Yours to read and export as CSV at any moment |
03
Three steps, one print
Say what needs collecting — One sentence in the generator — “sign-ups for Saturday’s book club, 30 seats” — and you get a designed card, not just a code. Print PNG, SVG or PDF at 85×54, 90×90, A6 or 58 mm badge size.
Print it and put it out — The exported code is checked for scannability before download. Tape it to a door, hand it over as a card, stand it on a counter.
Change the plan, not the paper — Move the date, add a field, raise the cap, swap the destination page. The printed code stays on the wall and keeps doing the new thing.

No subscription is hiding behind this
- ✓Create and print working cards without signing up.
- ✓Cards do not expire, and no countdown quietly switches a printed code off.
- ✓CSV export of the responses is included, not an upgrade.
- ✓Prices and limits are on the pricing page — the free plan is the product itself.
Dynamic QR codes — the questions that matter
01 Is a dynamic QR code the same as a link shortener with a QR?
Close, and the redirect is genuinely the same idea. What a shortener gives you is a destination; a QR Card also gives you the thing to do at that destination — the form, the capacity, the deadline — plus the card face people judge before scanning.
02 Do I need an account to make one?
No. You can generate, print and download without signing up. Making an account is what lets you carry those cards with you across devices.
03 Can I see how many people scanned?
Yes — scans and submissions are counted per card, with a fourteen-day trend and the full record list, and the whole list exports as CSV.
04 What happens if I delete the card?
Deleting stops the collection and the printed code then leads to a plain notice page. Deletion can be undone right after it happens; a code printed months ago cannot be recalled, so close a card rather than deleting it if you might want the data.
05 Will a printed code ever stop working?
Free cards keep working — that is the point of printing them. A code stops being useful if the card behind it is deleted, not because a term ran out.
06 Can it look like something worth printing?
That is the actual design work: materials, themes, typefaces, artwork layers and brand-matched palettes, all applied to a card whose code is verified scannable at the size you export.
