About
QRCard AI is built by a small team — small enough that the people who answer hello@qrcard-ai.com are the same people who write the code. No growth department, no “engagement” metrics, no board. Just one idea we keep shipping toward: a printed code should keep working after it's printed.
The problem we solve
→You print 200 sign-up QR codes for a workshop. The room holds 80. The code doesn't know — it keeps “accepting” people who will be turned away.
→The event moves to next Saturday. The flyer is already at the printer, and the code etched on it points to the old date forever.
→You want feedback at the door. Half the notes are illegible, a quarter are fake emails, and someone has to type all of it into a spreadsheet.
Every one of these is a printed code that died at the printer. QR Cards fix exactly this: spots, deadlines, fields and status live behind the code and keep updating — while the ink on paper never has to change.
What QRCard AI is not
—Not a digital business card app. Digital business cards are “about me” cards — profiles, contacts, maybe a chatbot. A QR Card is a “does something for you” card: it collects signups, check-ins and feedback. The full difference is here.
—Not a chatbot service. There is no assistant, no conversation, no lead-scoring AI chatting with your scanners. The “AI” in our name is the one sentence that builds your card.
—Not a paperless utopia. We like paper. The product assumes you will print — that's why every design decision optimizes for ink, size and scan distance.
Why the Free plan is the real product
A card you print and hand to strangers only earns trust if it keeps working — for months, ideally years. A countdown timer on that would be corrosive. So the free plan is the product: every material, every print size, live spots, PNG/SVG/PDF and CSV export.
What's open for business today is Plus — it lifts the 10-card cap. What comes later — Pro — makes room for teams: multiple members, a shared card library, roles. What you print today will not be held hostage tomorrow. The details live on the pricing page.
Built this way, on purpose
→No tracking. No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting. See the privacy policy — it's short because there's little to disclose.
→Data minimalism. Cards ask only for what you define — typically a name and an email — and deleting a card deletes everything with it.
→Print-first engineering. Scan-check on every export, contrast and quiet-zone rules baked into the generator, and formats sized for real printers — 85×54 cards, 58mm badges, A6 flyers.
