Door pre-registration card — worked example
Last updated: October 11, 2026
The Riverside Makers Fair printed one poster per neighborhood block. Scanning it took twelve seconds — name, how many coming, whether they are exhibiting — and the fair's entrance screen counted arrivals all morning, so the crew knew the room by noon instead of by the door queue.

One question this sample gets asked
Does the door need to check people against a laptop?
No. The live list is on the data page and the projection screen; the door reads names off the same list from any phone. Confirmed entries get their seat number back on the attendee's own screen.
