A free digital business card with no app — for you and for the person scanning it
Last updated: October 12, 2026
"Free" in this category usually means a free account on somebody else's app, with your printed codes living inside it. QRCard AI takes the requirement off both ends: you build the card in a browser and never install anything, and the person who scans gets a page in their browser instead of an app store. The free plan is the product itself, up to 10 live cards — every print size, PNG/SVG/PDF export, live capacity with an automatic waitlist, the projection screen and CSV export included.
What "free, no app" has to mean to be worth printing
| Free account on an app card | A QR code generator image | |
|---|---|---|
| Do you install anything | You do; sometimes they do too | Neither — but the code is a dead pointer |
| Does it print cleanly | Usually a screenshot of a profile | Yes, and that is the whole gift |
| Can it collect | Depends on the plan behind the free tier | No — a picture has no memory |
| Can you change it after printing | Yes, inside their account | No, reprint everything |
| What the free tier caps | Features, exports or the card itself | Nothing to cap — nothing behind it |
| What you do here instead | Sign up first, decide later | Build and print first; sign up only to keep it |
A free plan that removes features is a trial. This one removes nothing but the number of live cards, and that is stated on the pricing page too.

Some free plans are a demo: the export, the count or the branding stays behind a card. Ours removes nothing but card count — 10 live cards, everything on.

Check who has to install
A free card that requires your audience to install an app is a paid funnel with a nicer label. The scan should open a page.

Check what happens before you sign up
On this site you can build a card, dress it, print it and download PNG/SVG/PDF without an account. Sign-up only appears when you want to edit a printed code later.
Free-plan questions
What is free exactly?
Everything the card does: all materials and print sizes (85×54 mm, 90×90 mm, A6, 58 mm badge), PNG/SVG/PDF export, live seat counts and automatic waitlist, the projection screen and CSV export. The cap is ten live cards.
Do I need an account to make one?
No. Build it, print it, share it. An account only buys the ability to keep editing a card you already printed and to restore it later.
What happens when I hit the free limit?
Nothing on the printed pieces — they keep resolving and keep collecting. You manage which cards are live before making a new one; Plus exists to raise that cap, nothing else.
